Precautions regarding COVID-19

Klankenbos is open for public!

We have taken precautions to make your visit as ‘corona-proof’ as possible, following governmental guidelines. In concrete terms, this translates into the following:

  • Read the specific instructions displayed by the installations for each artwork
  • Disinfect your hands regularly. You can find gel hand sanitizer provided at the info point, Radio Forest
  • Small spaces (such as Infopoint Radio Forest and Oorsprong) should only be entered by max. two people
  • All maps, flyers and display publications can be found online. Download them to print at home before your visit to Klankenbos, or alternatively use the Klankenbos App
  • The interactive information kiosk in the Radio Forest Info Point is inactive. You can listen to all of the soundscapes via the website.
  • Avoid touching surfaces as much as possible, such as Konversation.
  • The door of Oorsprong will remain open: this way you can enter the installation without touching anything. We therefore ask you to leave the door open for the next visitor.
  • Sound installation Tacet is closed to the public.
  • We clean the installations and facilities on a frequent basis.
  • The public restrooms are closed at the moment.
  • You can book a tour for groups of up to 3 adults per guide or for classes provided that the class bubble is respected to the maximum. The activities for children Musical Treasure Hunt and From Twig to Forest Concert can be booked for groups of up to 10 children. This information will be updated when the governmental guidelines change.

We also ask visitors to take a number of things into account:

  • You visit the forest at your own risk.
  • Keep 1,5 m. distance from others when using the footpaths.
  • Busy at a sound installation? Please wait patiently from an appropriate distance.

Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your visit!
